I like the first two as sketches, but as portraits they aren't that good. But I think it got better and better throughout the day, so I guess I've learned something from it:
The last I really like. It actually does look a litttle like the model and I found out that it is much easier to work with both crayon and pencil. For me at least :)
Before lunch we went to see a show called "Nye Toner" / "New Tones" at the Drama School in one of the other buildings and we were told to make some sketches during the show. It was a quite odd story, but very entertaining as well. It was centered around a Danish song, "Solen er så rød, mor" (translation: "The sun is so red, mum") and a sad story about a car crash . It started out in a fun and childish manner but evolved over time to a somewhat tragic tale. This is my drawing from the show:
It is two people holding each other with a setting sun as background. That is the story from my point of view. I saw it as a story about understanding and connecting with each other through music. I am going to stop now, before I get too cheesy...
